Fortnite's Android (APK) Installer allowed Hackers to inject malware discreetly

Looks like Epic Games will have some serious security issues since the Android Version of Fortnite won't be Released initially to the Play Store

According to Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney, he said to Techcrunch that the APK of Fortnite won't be made available directly from the PlayStore but from their Official Website instead

Resulting to that, Epic Games will also not be obligated to pay the 30 percent cut from In-app Purchases to google as Tim says that is only reasonable for Consoles, but not for open platforms such as Android

Examples of Potential Fake Installers
Hackers may trick you from Downloading their Installers by including some Beautifying Words that may get you clicked such as Free V-Bucks included or some Modifications but falling into those scams will get your Phone at risk

According to Android Central, Epic has already noticed the flaw after being notified by Google and Promised to deliver the fix within 48 hours and hopes that no one gets victimized by the security hole but the Developer was not happy with how google handled the situation as Google disclosed the flaw publicly inside their Issue Tracker before even allowing the players to update their installers

But still, Google did the right thing as they didn't violated any of their Disclosure Policy and since Fortnite's APK (Android Package) is not available on Play Store Officially, It still gives holes for others who might download the game from other Unknown Sources so it's best to download only from Epic Games Official Website to Prevent Problems in the Future
