Valve Finally Addresses which games gets on steam, Won't be Strict Anymore

As long as Valve gets a cut, you are allowed to submit any game with tiny exceptions

According to a Steam Blog posted by Erik Johnson (Personnel at Valve) Erik stated "we've decided that the right approach is to allow everything onto the Steam Store, except for things that we decide are illegal, or straight up trolling.

"Taking this approach allows us to focus less on trying to police what should be on Steam, and more on building those tools to give people control over what kinds of content they see."

So basically what this blog post is trying to say is that Anyone can sell their game on Steam, but with Slimmed Exception which is if a Game published was Illegal or Straight up trolling.

There's no Straight Meaning about the "Illegal" Term but violating this policy will still result to the termination of your Game from Steam.

Clearly Valve doesn't want to spend more time policing and Examining each Games that enters the kingdom of Steam, That's why Valve is giving up the Responsibility and address the issue once and for all which is allowing games and not being super strict when it comes to submission, but their only reminder though is that "Illegal or Troll Games" are not permitted to enter Steam.

"This Policy is not only freedom of Speech but also a freedom of Art, expression and freedom to play what you want" as Steam user "Hiecchi" stated in the comment.
