At the Stage Demonstration, Intel Demonstrated a Cinebench score of 7,334 which is a monumental leap from the older generation CPU's.

Intel hasn't revealed anything about the technology for the new processor or the architecture used but the spokesperson said that it's a single-socket processor with 28 cores and clocked at 5GHz.

If this processor will turn available to the public, it will surely put its way ahead of AMD for the multi-core battle defeating AMD's Threadripper chips which includes 16 cores and 32 threads.

The Latest i9 Extreme available on the Market costs $1,999 so probably the new 28-core processor is expected to be priced higher than $2,000

Intel apparently will send us more updates about the new Processor any time soon before it's final release.
