614 GB worth of Secret US Data Files, Stolen by Chinese Hackers


A massive security breach has been executed by Chinese Government associated Hackers as they had Breached and Stolen lots of Sensitive Data Files from the Computers of a US Navy contractor.

According to The Washington Post, The Stolen Files contains substantial amounts of Highly Classified Data relating to US undersea warfare including the secret plans to create a usable anti-ship missile for U.S submarines by 2020, Sources told The Washington Post.



The U.S Navy Contractor who got targeted by Chinese Hackers is still not identified, The Navy is Reportedly working together with the FBI to investigate the breach more further.



Officials says that the breaches happened in January and February and hackers collected over 614GB of Compromised Data which contained data on signals, sensor data, the Navy's electronic warfare library, cryptographic info as well as Material from a Project known as Sea Dragon.


Other leaked files remains secret; And the only information disclosed by the Department of Defense is that those files are supposed to be used to integrate an existing weapon system to an existing Navy platform.



This is the Latest and one Successful raid in a string of attempts by Chinese Hackers to US data that secured china a lot of information and this could possibly become one advantage for China over America in terms of defense.
